Messages from insects confirm:

“We are not ‘pests.’  We are here in service.”

flea

Some of you may have noticed that in families where there are several dogs or cats, only one may have a serious flea problem while the others are fine.   This mystery has led some people and veterinarians to hypothesize that it has to do with what the animals are eating or with different dna or with some unknown factor.

A number of years ago, an Animal Communicator colleague talked to fleas about why they bite people and animals.   She shared the information that she received in an egroup I belonged to at the time.  According to her conversation with fleas, they bite very specific points of the body to help restore balance.  In other words, if there are meridians that are jammed or acupuncture points that need clearing, that’s where they bite.  This causes the human or animal to scratch the bite, thus bringing attention to the area and hopefully, release of the energy jams.

When Violet was here in her lifetime just prior to this one she used to bring a toy to me in the middle of the night while I was asleep.  Being a night kitty, she wanted to play.  I would become partially conscious when she jumped onto the bed, feel for the toy, and throw it.  After a few times  of retrieving it, she’d settle down to sleep and so would I.

One night, as I felt for the toy, my hand touched something small and warm and limp.  I jumped up and turned on the light.  There on the bed was a dead mouse.  Of course, I praised Violet to the skies for being a good hunter, but told her I wasn’t going to throw the mouse for her to play with.

When I got up the next morning, I discovered that I had some flea bites on me.  The mouse must have had fleas.  Violet had no bites, but I had several, and all on just one side of my body in areas that I knew were weak spots.

My friend, Jo, recently asked me how to deal with insects attacks on her body.  I told her to explore these 3 approaches:

  1. The insects may be giving her a message about areas in her body that are out of balance.
  2. Green Hope Farm has a flower essence formula called “Watch Your Back” to be used whenever you feel under attack – not just from insects, but in general.
  3. Using intention, one can decide to put out “tree energy” or “rock energy” to confuse the insects so they leave you alone.

Yesterday Jo sent me this email, confirming the idea that insects are gifting us by showing us where we need help:

Thought you  would find this interesting. I had a biofeedback session today, and shared your theory on insect attacks with the therapist. When she focussed on the point where the latest attack was, it indicated that it was for tinnitus. Which I have horrible problems with. When she went to clear that area, the system alarmed, which means that there is a obstruction that if doesn’t clear will be of a significant drain on the body. It finally did clear.

When she did the point where the previous attack was a few weeks ago, that alarmed as well and indicated a compromised immune system, which I have. It alarmed again, but finally cleared. Both areas were severely red after the rounds of biofeedback.

To add to what you shared with me, she began to explain that everything has energy, and that insects can detect what area are out of frequency or out of balance. That would be where they usually “attack”. I found this quite fascinating and wanted to share with you.

Best,
Jo

The idea of using intention to tell insects you are a tree had this effect one day when I was washing some windows outside.

As I was washing the windows, along came a swarm of gnats swirling in the air.  Maybe you’ve seen them do that.  They don’t really bite, but can get into your nose, ears, and eyes, and even your mouth.  I kept saying to myself, “I’m a tree.  I’m a tree.” but the gnats didn’t seem to get it.  Finally, I spoke out loud to them.

“Hey fellas, you must be confused.  I’m a tree,” I said.  “Oh, OK.”  they responded, and left immediately.

Maybe it’s time for us to honor and be grateful to all the insects of Planet Earth, and to treat them all with more respect and appreciation.

Namaste,
Nedda

Sounds like a good idea to me.

I know a lady in Spain that asked ants to stop making her terrace their freeway. Nothing happened immediatly, but after having communicated with them for a couple of weeks and showing them another way to go, they stopped and have never come back, however they do use the way she pointed out!

All of this just completely makes sense to me. Thanks so much for sharing.

If the Gaia internet community had not gone belly-up I would have been able to connect you to a contribution to a peace-pod (group) about this very issue.
In it I explained my take on the purpose of mosquito bites (upgrading the immune system). Oh, well…

Very interesting, thank you Nedda. According to this, my knees are weak (I have clusters of mosquito bites on them which have since gotten infected) as well as the right side of my face near my eye (two bites of an unknown origin).

While I am thankful for the insects trying to re-balance me, I will send out tree vibes from now on.

      Dear Liz,

Have you also considered having some type of energetic treatment, like acupuncture (which can be done with needles or lasers or electrical impulses) for these areas? I can understand not wanting to be bitten, and certainly not wanting to get infections there, but if you take the message from the insects and follow up using your higher guidance to find the right system for healing those areas, then the insects might feel that their work was a success?

So interesting and inspiring! I didn’t have a clue that insects would be beneficial to living beings. Thank you, Nedda, for sharing it with us.

I was sent this email question by Sue:

Could you explain something further to me. I’m missing something here.
In the Insect Gifts article, one of the suggestions you had was:

“Using intention, one can decide to put out “tree energy” or “rock energy” to confuse the insects so they leave you alone.”

I thought tree/plant life and insects go hand in hand, why would they leave tree energy alone. If anything, wouldn’t they be more drawn to it.
    Thank you.
    Sue

    MY REPLY TO SUE:

    Dear Sue,

The insects don’t bite trees or rocks. They bite humans and/or other animals. Some of them need the blood to facilitate their reproduction, while they simultaneously stimulate our bodies in areas that are imbalanced and need touch of some kind to heal. That’s why this works. Not sure? Give it a try yourself and see what happens.

    Namaste,
    Nedda
