What’s wrong with this image?
Your heart is NOT located in your head.
Have you ever noticed how language affects you?
The words we use speak volumes about where we are living inside our body.
When you say, “I think…”, you’re in your head.
When you say, “I feel…”, you’re in your heart.
Physically, your heart is in the center of your body. This is the ideal place for a heart to be, and it’s also the ideal place for our Consciousness to be centered. The heart’s job, energetically speaking, is to balance the world of matter/physicality – with the world of spirit/consciousness.
Being in your heart, living from your heart, and being heart-centered are important for Spiritual Ascension. So if you’re on the Ascension path, it is helpful to pay attention to your words because they show where you’re coming from as you speak.
So why is it that so many people in our culture are living in their heads instead of living in their hearts?
One reason is that Corporate America has made a huge and successful effort to take feelings out of our language.
Corporations require that employees remove words that express emotion and feelings and replace them with words that feel flat. Here’s an example.
Corporate Speak: “impact”
Human Speak: “affect”
When you say, “Her comments impacted me,”
you’re leaving out feelings.
When you say, “Her comments affected me,”
you’re referring to your feelings.
Can you think of other examples? If so, please share them in a comment.
People who have strong feelings are criticized in corporations. They are told that they are “reactive.” This is Corporate Speak for having and expressing feelings which, we are told by the corporation, are not appropriate behaviors or ways to be.
Having and expressing feelings in a corporate environment goes against the corporate culture. Employees who don’t conform are chastised and punished.
For 8 or so hours each day, when you work for a corporation, you’re being programmed (trained) to ignore your feelings, bury your feelings, and become soulless.
Your Soul has feelings.
Your Soul is what makes you human.
Corporations are soulless.
Corporations are not human.
So you leave work and head for home, and perhaps while commuting you’re listening to the news or you turn on the TV when you get home, and guess what? The news is coming from corporations (they own nearly all the media), and they, too, are using “Corporate Speak.” So again, you’re being programmed to use language that lacks heart-centeredness.
Actually, you’re also being programmed not to feel.
You’re being programmed to stay out of your heart.
You’re being programmed to forget about your Soul.
Your Soul is connected to your physical body in your Heart.
Your Soul has feelings.
Don’t you find this fascinating?
Even if you don’t agree with what I’m proposing here, you may find this concept worth a moment or two of consideration.
After all, we live in a society where Corporations are ruling us, running the government, and allowing us to pretend that we’re in charge.
So it’s time to wake up and strengthen your connection with your Soul by consciously living in your heart.
